A neutral colorway and boldly contrasting pattern make the Blackstone Throw Pillow a versatile adornment. The pillow uses both sides of a substantial double cloth: on one side, off-white geometric square patterns hover over a black background. On the other side, the inverse pattern gives a lighter alternative. Each pillow is sewn in our Portland factory and finished with a down-filled insert and a brass YKK zipper. A Schoolhouse Original.

ace&jig is a labor of love for founders Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson, who met as design interns and bonded over a shared passion for antique textiles. While the company is based in Brooklyn, New York and Portland, Oregon, it’s India that provides a source for the stunning creations they produce. Using a vast collection of heirloom textiles for inspiration, Cary and Jenna work with traditional weavers (90% of whom are women) working on wooden handlooms to create unique patterns. Fabrics are made from 100% cotton sourced local to the weavers and yarn-dyed with skin-safe, azo-free dyes. The stripe provides one of their foundational woven motifs, and it’s used to create patterns with a singular richness and texture. The enduring craftsmanship and timeless design of their textiles made this one our most exciting collaborations to date.
