Whether you dive in headfirst, do a slow and steady buildup, or avoid it completely, holiday decorating is a deeply personal undertaking. Rooted in family traditions (both the adherence to + breaking of), the way we celebrate this season is as unique and telling as any personality test. All year long it warms our hearts to see Schoolhouse inside your homes, and call us sentimental, but this time of year always feels like an *extra-special* time to catch a glimpse. For all the holiday lovers out there, we'll be featuring three Schoolhouse-filled homes with their own special spin on the season this month.
First up is Brianna Heiligenthal of @burtsbrisplease. A mother to two young boys, she's created a warm and crisp space for maximum merriment-making with her modern take on nostalgic holiday style. A Schoolhouse Kennedy Clock in brass feels festive year-round but especially so when paired with a sweetly hung row of Corduroy Cuff Stockings (no fireplace = no problem). With a simple garland for the mantle and an heirloom Buffalo Check Wool Tree Skirt, everything looks beautiful, fresh and classic. Of course, oversized multi-colored lights strung on a tree never hurts either...
