The month of April marks the third year of Write_On, a letter-writing campaign where our friends and letterpress design houses, Egg Press and Hello!Lucky challenge their customers and fans to join them in writing 30 letters in 30 days. This year they plan to offer 10,000 free (!) letter-writing kits containing 6 letterpress cards along with pens donated by Sakura of America, in the hopes that many more participants will rediscover the personal reward of writing a letter.
It's hard to replace the wonderful sense of satisfaction of both writing someone a note by hand and/or receiving one in the mail. In our digital world, we want to stay mindful to not lose touch with our analog selves. That personal connection of putting pen to paper is irreplaceable, which is why we are such big fans of the Write_On concept.
