"The quality of your environment is one of the greatest and most overlooked sources of happiness." These wise words from interior designer and longtime Schoolhouse pal Casey Keasler have always rung particularly true to us. As owner of Casework Design Studio in Portland, Oregon, Keasler has left her mark on over a million square feet in her career so far. She also graced the pages of our Spring Catalog back in 2015, shot on Sauvie Island in the sweetest tiny house.

As a visual storyteller, Keasler has an eye and a fire for creating spaces made for real living. She understands that people, and therefore their homes, are not one dimensional beings and designs accordingly. Her interiors are rich with intent, charm and thoughtfulness. Each one reflects the true nature and purpose of the individual space at hand.
For her most recent residential remodel, Casey used an array of Schoolhouse pieces throughout the house. Bright and functional with crisp finishes and brass highlights galore, this home gives off a contemporary vibe in a blissful new way - we'll call it Modern Soul style. Clean and inviting, there's a subtle glisten and playful touch to every room. Take a tour below.
