Holiday 2016: The New Old-Fashioned

Category: All Category: Gather Category: Inspiration

Cozy and bright, the season to stay in has arrived. Today we launch our holiday collection and it's filled with a new kind of old-fashioned delight. This time of year, when friends and family gather near (sorry... we can't help but get a little carol-y here), it's even more important to unplug, unwind and enjoy.

Whether you're staying true to the old or making new traditions, our holiday line has heirloom-worthy favorites for everyone big or small. Each year we release a new collection of limited-edition holiday stockings made from vintage fabric and sewn by hand right here in the Schoolhouse factory. And for the first time ever, we've also created a beautiful black and white tree skirt, hand-pieced and sewn together in our studio.

So turn up some classic carols, string popcorn garlands, heat up a pot of fondue on the stove and gather around the table for an old-fashioned board game. There are so many lovely ways to revel in and celebrate this time of year and we are so excited to kick things off. To help the holiday hunt go a little smoother, we handpicked some favorite Schoolhouse pieces new and old for a range of gift guides to suit everyone.
