Behind the Scenes: Holiday 2014

Category: All Category: Inspiration

In the retail world, preparation for the holidays happens early. You'd think it would be hard to get in the holiday spirit before Fall arrives, but it's amazing what a little holiday music and red and green frosted cookies will do to your soul. This year, we shot all of our holiday collages, gift guides, and festive scenes in our beloved factory building.

We enlisted the help of our talented in-house stylists, and they carefully pieced together a handful of inspiring gift ideas. These curated collages are no easy feat - they take vision, great products, and the perfect mix of texture, pattern, and color.

And just when we think we have THE shot, there's usually a little more tweaking that must be done. A prized photo takes time and patience, but the end result is absolutely worth it.

As you can imagine, these shots would be nothing without lots and lots and lots of props. Interesting pieces and vintage items are an important part of our brand, and we're constantly collecting trinkets that speak to us.

And what's left after all the cookies have been eaten and the wrapping paper has been tucked away until we're ready to launch our holiday line? One crooked tree, just waiting patiently for Christmas to arrive!
